Hi! My name is Valentina and I am 4-years-old and weigh about 26 pounds.
I am looking for a forever home that has another doggy sibling for me! I love playing with other dogs and also learn from them. I’ve never been in a home before so there’s a lot to learn!
A home with a fenced in yard would be great for me! I’m a bit rambunctious on a leash when walking so I would need some more practice at that.
I’m great at being groomed and have become very used to my medicated baths that I get to help regrow my fur. I’ll need them for a few more months as well as allergy shots from the vet. I’m getting prettier and fluffier every day!
I can be left home alone and I don’t mess with anything because I’m a very good girl! I love sleeping in my crate at night because it makes me feel safe and cozy. I love to alert my humans when I see people outside so you can count on me to protect the family.
IMPORTANT: IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR an MSIR DOG, ALL APPLICANTS MUST:
Be willing to travel with all family members to the foster home to meet/adopt the dog(s).
Send an email to adoptions@shibarescue.org with 1) Proof of current vet records for all pets in the home, including preventatives, and 2) A brief explanation telling MSIR why you would be a great fit for the dog.
Submit a completed application.
*If all of these steps aren’t completed, you may not hear back about moving forward.*
She has had a very long, very hard journey. She deserves to live like a queen for the rest of her life!
NOTE: Due to the breed's independent and prey driven nature, Shiba Inus should ALWAYS be leashed whenever they are outside of a securely fenced area. In addition, many Shibas are door bolters and care should be taken around doors and other escape points.
