1. Send an email to ‘adoptions@shibarescue.org’ explaining why you are a great fit for her, along with proof of current vet records, including preventatives, for all pets in the house.
2. Submit a completed application.
3. Be willing to travel to the Minneapolis, MN area to meet/adopt her.

Hi! If you’re looking for a sweet and fun puppy then come meet me - Cotton Candy! I’m about 4-months-old and am a Shiba mix puppy.
I’m a well-rounded pup! I like other dogs, kids, and I can walk well on leash already! Of course I am your typical puppy with lots of energy but I’m playful, smart and loving. I enjoy exploring inside and outside the house. I’d love a yard to run around in!
I’m a cuddle bug and seek out attention and pets from my humans. I’ve been working on my small amounts of separation anxiety and it’s already lessened. I am looking forward to finding a family of my own! I don’t need any dog siblings to be happy but I also would be okay having some so I’m very flexible. I can’t wait to add some joy and excitement to a new family’s life!

AN APPLICATION AND HOME VISIT MUST BE COMPLETED PRIOR TO ADOPTION.
Any one interested in adopting this dog must first complete an adoption application indicating the name of the dog(s) they are interested in learning more about. Once the adoption application is received, our adoption coordinator will contact you. You must respond to this email to set up your home visit and complete the approval process. The entire adoption process is outlined on our web site.
NOTE: Due to the breed's independent and prey driven nature, Shibas should ALWAYS be leashed whenever they are outside of a securely fenced area. In addition, many Shibas are door bolters and care should be taken around doors and other escape points.
