Cash is fostered in Madison, Wisconsin.

Hi!  This is Cash, a large black and tan Shiba Inu with a large personality and loud voice.  He comes in at a whopping 48 lbs., although he needs to lose about 10 of those pounds.

Cash is a very sweet boy that loves toys and loves to play fetch.  He is always there to greet you at the door with his stuffed animal in his mouth.  He also loves chasing around a tennis ball in the back yard and playing soccer around the house with his large ball.  He loves going for long walks too!

Cash is potty trained and hasn’t had a single accident in the house.  He sleeps well in his crate, even though he is free to roam about the house at night.  Although he prefer to sleep on the bed if you let him.

Cash would do best as the only pet in the house.  He takes a little while of time to warm up to new people, but after awhile he is begging for belly rubs and attention.  Cash is a curious young guy, but is very well behaved and ready to go whenever you are.

If you think Cash might be a great addition to your family, please reach out to his foster home at

Any one interested in adopting this dog must first complete an adoption application indicating the name of the dog(s) they are interested in learning more about.  Once the adoption application is received, our adoption coordinator will contact you.  You must respond to this email to set up your home visit and complete the approval process.  The entire adoption process is outlined on our web site.

NOTE: Due to the breed's independent and prey driven nature, Shibas should ALWAYS be leashed whenever they are outside of a securely fenced area.  In addition, many Shibas are door bolters and care should be taken around doors and other escape points.
