President:

This is the only board position that requires at least one year of prior MSIR board experience.

·        Sets annual goals for MSIR.

·        Chairs all MSIR board meetings.

·        Has board tie-breaking vote, as needed.

·        Oversees implementations of MSIR by-laws.

·        Oversees creation of annual report for website.

·        Develops and continues relationships within the community, as needed: new and past MSIR volunteers, new and past MSIR adopters, shelters, animal control, rescue groups, veterinary professionals, and others, as needed.

·        Oversees grant writing activities.

·        Acts as Election Coordinator at end of term.
