Adoption Coordinator:

FYI: this is a fairly new position to MSIR and its responsibilities are still being established. The new Adoption Coordinator will help negotiate this position’s tasks.

·        Oversees all adoptions activity.

·        Coordinates with state home visit coordinators, as needed.

·        Works with foster homes to ensure understanding of the adoption process and their role.

·        Recommends adopter matches for foster dogs.

·        Coordinates with Event Coordinator to schedule Meet-n-Greets regularly.

·        Coordinates with Transport Coordinator for adoption transport, as needed.
