All (100%) of the proceeds from the Online Store are donated to Midwest Shiba Inu Rescue (MSIR).

You can be assured that all of these monies will go to help needy Shiba Inu dogs; we have no paid staff, no paid office, and no paid promotions. We rely strictly on volunteers and donated services.

Our funds are used to make sure all MSIR dogs are healthy and well adjusted before adoption. Specifically, every MSIR Shiba is spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and micro-chipped before placement.

As you can imagine, fostering and placement take lots of love, patience, commitment, and unfortunately, money. However, thanks to people like you, more Shibas will find a new loving and forever home. We couldn't do it without you!

Please Help.

Jae Soon Yi has a sad story with a happy ending! In October 2004, Jae Soon Yi was dropped off at a clinic by her owners in Texas. Bleeding and scared, she was brought inside. After being sedated, the vet soon realized all four of her paws were injured. It was clear that Jae Soon Yi had been a "dragging" victim from a car, since the skin on her pads were ripped and her nails were shorn down beyond the quick.

Jae Soon Yi found her forever home in March 2005!
