Clyde is fostered in Kokomo, Indiana.

This boy’s name is Clyde and he is 4 years old. He is full of energy and is a sweetest bundle of joy! Clyde loves his daily walks on a leash and is looking for a loving family whom are willing to let him run freely in their home. His ideal home would have a fenced yard.  Clyde loves being outside, running, jumping, and just exploring everything he can.

Clyde will really love it if his adopted family can spend some time and exercise with him. He loves hugs and snuggling, and his long walks with his foster parent. When inside, Clyde likes to find safe spots that he feels more secure and tends to stay there, but he does venture out when his foster parent calls him. He is very responsive and doesn’t bark.

Clyde is house trained and has had no accidents in his foster home. He is also comfortable being in his crate but gets anxious when left alone at home.

If you are willing to open up your home to this sweet dog, email his foster parent at murunb@umich.edu to learn more!

AN APPLICATION AND HOME VISIT MUST BE COMPLETED PRIOR TO ADOPTION.

Any one interested in adopting this dog must first complete an adoption application indicating the name of the dog(s) they are interested in learning more about.  Once the adoption application is received, our adoption coordinator will contact you.  You must respond to this email to set up your home visit and complete the approval process.  The entire adoption process is outlined on our web site.

NOTE: Due to the breed's independent and prey driven nature, Shibas should ALWAYS be leashed whenever they are outside of a securely fenced area.  In addition, many Shibas are door bolters and care should be taken around doors and other escape points.
